We have extensive experience with research activities as well as with the financial management of research grants. We offer our skills and experience as service but also as products that we distribute into laboratories. One of the main competitive advantages of Biomedox, Ltd. is the collaboration with academic institutions, particularly with Faculty of Medicine at the Comenius University, with which we have entered an agreement on cooperation and sharing of laboratories of the Institute of Molecular Biomedicine. In these laboratories we do joint research and test and put into practice our products.

Services offered include detection of biochemical markers of oxidative stress and steroids such as testosterone, estradiol and cortisol in different types of samples including saliva. With these services we participate in a number of projects. Our further research in this area is supported by a grant from the Slovak Research and Development Agency APVV – VMSP-II-0027-09 – Salivary malondialdehyde as a marker of oxidative stress in dental diseases. In addition, we also provide basic biostatistical data analysis and technical translations mainly for pharmaceutical companies.

As part of our distribution activities we offer tools and equipment from companies such as Biocat, Braintree Scientific and WPI. We plan to focus on producers of pipettes to centralize the market with pipettes in Slovakia and offer our customers not only good prices, but especially high quality of the service and customer support. Thanks to the experience of research activities we know the needs and problems of academic departments, including bureaucratic obstacles in implementing the projects. So, we try to simplify and adapt the processing of orders and invoicing of products to the specificities of the Slovak market
